Real Results, Not Fads

Our personal training combines individualized programming with the energy of a small, semi-private environment.

If you want to learn to lift weights in New York City, you're usually stuck between two frustrating options...

Traditional personal training in NYC can be inefficient and expensive. You're tied to one person's schedule. There's no guarantee that you're following a structured plan. And for many, the high cost makes it unsustainable.

The truth is, most people don't need 1-1 personal training every single session to get results.

Then, there are crowded fitness classes. These large group classes aren't designed to deliver real results - they're designed to entertain 20 people. Not only do the workouts change randomly from class to class, but they offer very little individual attention and actual coaching.

There's a smarter way to train.

You deserve a structured, personalized plan. A gym where every session is coach-led, progressive, and intentional.
Coaching that prioritizes proper form, strength development, and progress tracking — not burnout-style workouts or guesswork.
Stop working out. Start training with purpose.

Prefer 1-on-1 Coaching?

While most members thrive in our semi-private model, we also offer hybrid 1-1 coaching, which combines one-on-one sessions in our studio with online programming through the PhysioRX app.

Same structure. Same system. Just one-on-one.
We could explain why PhysioRX works all day long — but with hundreds of five-star reviews, it’s probably easier to hear it from our community.

I highly recommend PhysioRX--it's the perfect blend of physical therapy and training. Will Zhen is an outstanding trainer who not only helped me manage my previous injuries but also guided me back into shape. I've already recommended it to a friend who's signing up, and I'm planning to continue next year!

Awesome working with Andrew and the rest of the team. I was mostly trying to manage pain in my feet while being able to stay active (playing basketball/working out 4-5 days/week), and after a couple months was feeling much better than when I started.
Love the hybrid in-person and online format.

I came to PhysioRx after a meniscus tear and partial meniscectomy surgery. I was eager to get back to CrossFit and hiking, but I was also nervous. Working weekly on strength and mobility helped me immensely. In less than 2 weeks after returning to CrossFit, I've already PR'd 2 lifts and I am taking a hiking trip this week.

After a year out of the gym due to a shoulder injury, Connor helped me regain strength and confidence. He’s extremely knowledgeable, always responsive to questions, and his guidance has made training more enjoyable than ever. Thanks to him, I’m back to consistent workouts and feeling great. Highly recommend!

Went to PhysioRX to rehab my injured knee but also work on general strength. Everyone there is super professional and engaged and I found the hybrid model of in person and app based rehab was cost effective and kept me accountable. My knee hasn’t felt this good in years and my general strength, which had been declining with age, is back on the right track.

Georgio and his team at PhysioRX were fantastic and helped me heal and strengthen a partial MCL tear in my right knee. Kept with the scheduled training regiments and ended up getting PRs on my bench, DL and squat. Highly recommend PhysioRX for anyone looking for Sports-applicable PT and training.

Frequently Asked Questions

How is small group personal training different from a regular fitness class?

In small group personal training, you follow a structured program tailored to your goals while training in a small group setting. Unlike large fitness classes where everyone does the same workout, your plan is individualized and coached in real time.

Will I still get personal attention in a small group?

Yes. Sessions are intentionally capped at just 4 people to ensure hands-on coaching, form correction, and progress tracking. You’re never just another person in the room — you’re following your own plan with expert oversight.

Is nutrition guidance included?

Yes. All of our clients get access to Nutrition Made Simple - our nutrition coaching forum inside the PhysioRX app. In the forum, you can ask our in-house nutritionist any questions and she will answer. She also provides lots of tips around what to eat to lose fat, gain muscle, or fuel workouts.

We also offer 1:1 Nutrition Coaching as an add-on.

What if I’ve had injuries or am coming out of physical therapy?

Our coaching model is built on movement expertise. Exercises are adjusted based on your mobility, strength, and history, so you can train safely and confidently while continuing to build resilience. Plus, some of our SGPT coaches are also Doctors of PT themselves, and you'll have access to a PT on our team in case any issues arise.

Do you offer one-on-one personal training?

Yes. While most clients thrive in our semi-private model, we also offer fully private personal training for those who prefer maximum individual attention.

Meet the Future of Recovery

PhysioRX is redefining physical therapy by combining one-on-one care, small group training, and continuous support — so you don’t just get out of pain, you come back stronger than before.
