1:1 Physical Therapy in Manhattan
What Is One-on-One Physical Therapy?
In one-on-one physical therapy, a licensed physical therapist works only with you from the start of your visit to the end. At PhysioRX that is a full 60 minutes. There is no assistant stepping in, and your therapist is not booked with someone else at the same time.
Because the time is all yours, your therapist can watch every rep, correct your form on the spot and change the plan in the moment if something does not feel right. Your treatment stays fitted to your body, your goals and your fitness level.
Who Is 1:1 Physical Therapy For?
One-on-one care suits almost anyone who wants focused help, including people who are:
- Recovering from an injury
- Coming back after surgery
- Living with pain that has lasted months or years
- Trying to move better and get stronger
- Frustrated after physical therapy elsewhere that did not work
You do not need a doctor's referral to book. Your plan is shaped around your history and goals, whether that means calming a sore shoulder, getting your back ready for long days at a desk or building the strength to get back into the gym.
How Our 1:1 Care Keeps Going Between Visits
A busy Manhattan week does not have to stall your progress. Every patient gets ongoing support from their physical therapist through the PhysioRX app, with a custom program, a video and written description for every exercise, progress tracking and messaging.
You also keep a dedicated physical therapist, so the person guiding you knows your history and can spot small changes from week to week. You can come to the clinic, work remotely, or combine the two, and depending on your plan, in-person sessions can be used 1 to 4 times a week. Our weekday hours run until 8:30 p.m., and we are open Saturday mornings, so in-person sessions can fit around your work.
